Please join us on Thursday, April 13th under Science World’s glittering geodesic ball as we explore the science behind the wines of the Golden Mile Bench. Science World will host an evening of lively conversation with moderator Kurtis Kolt and a panel of BC principal wine makers on what’s behind the Okanagan Valley’s first official Sub-Designated Viticultural Area (Sub-DVA), the Golden Mile Bench.
The event will feature a collection of nine Golden Mile Bench wineries, including Culmina. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about what makes a sub-appellation; why they are important to wine making; and what characteristics have determined the Golden Mile Bench’s formation
Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy wine from the region, as well as mouthwatering food pairings by Backyard Farm and Miradoro at Tinhorn Creek.
