Great news from Oregan, the 2015 R&D by Culmina White Blend has just garnered a double gold medal at the Cascadia Wine Awards. The Cascadia Wine Competition, now in its 5th year, brings together the best in wine from the Pacific Northwest. This year the competition included judges from Washington, Oregan, Idaho and British Columbia as well as Sheri Sauter Morano, a Master of Wine from North Carolina and New Orleans broadcaster/journalist Tim NcNally.
“The ultimate test of whether a regional wine competition is relevant to the industry and to the consumer comes down to the quality of the wines,” McNally said. “What we just experienced in judging this competition was an amazing presentation, across the board, of just under 1,000 wines from every sector of the entire area.”
The 2015 R&D White Blend, comprised of Chardonnay and four other varieties, is available for purchase at the winery and in our online Wine Boutique.
