We’re thrilled to be working with Penticton-based Joy Road Catering again for a spectacular multi-course dinner on Sunday July 31st. Owners Cameron Smith and Dana Ewart truly embody the concept of ‘cuisine du terroir’, crafting outstanding food from fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients. Better yet, their food showcases our wines beautifully. One reason: both are certified through the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, and are well-versed in food and wine pairing. From their inception selling pastries at the farmers’ markets, Joy Road has primarily used local ingredients for the simple reason that fresh tastes better. Socially-responsible food sourcing allows their customers to enjoy the Okanagan bounty at the height of ripeness, and also sustains the farmers and artisans who represent the agricultural heritage of this region.
