Six More Medals for Culmina from NWAC 2023!
Winemakers across the country are celebrating sucess after the recent WineAlign National Wine Awards of Canada. Held this year in nearby Penticton, BC, NWAC is the largest Canadian competition of its kind, seeing a total of over 1900 entries from 255 wineries.
Culmina was pleased to once again take home several medals,comprising of two gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze:
Unicus 2022 - 92 Points, Gold Medal - "The overall feel here is quite luxe and even volupté. Pronouncements are grander and body denser though always with a light breeze blowing on through."
Saignée 2022 - 92 Points, Gold Medal - "Pretty nose here, delicate and floral, bright red fruit-scented. Sharp acids, good lift and tension, twangy, saliva-inducing. Depth is very good."
Hypothesis 2018 - 90 Points, Silver Medal - "A plethora of red and black summer berries along with delicate oak spice and firm tannins... Opens up quickly in the glass. The long finish is tinged with a touch of smoke."
Viognier 2022 - 90 Points, Silver Medal - "A very balanced expression of viognier with characteristic richness and viscosity that are juxtaposed by juicy acids."
Dilemma 2020 - 90 Points, Silver Medal
Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 - 88 Points, Bronze Medal
