Latin for incomparable, unprecedented, or ‘only’, Unicus represents the Okanagan Valley’s first Grüner Veltliner. Harvested from Margaret’s Bench - one of the highest vineyards in the Okanagan - Unicus displays lifted mineral, herbs, citrus, and stone fruit aromas, combined with distinctive white pepper and grapefruit flavours, creating a wine of outstanding originality, interest, elegance, and style.

Fermented in a combination of concrete amphora (23%), concrete egg (28%), and stainless steel (49%)

TASTING NOTE
Expressive notes of fresh grapefruit, meyer lemon and quince coalesce with nuanced aromas of white pepper, herbs and wet stone. Framed by Unicus`textural palate, integrated citrus and savoury flavours are carried through the mid-palate by a distinct mineral core, measured acidity, and telltale pithy finish.
