VINEYARD SOURCE
A blend of Malbec (66%) and Merlot (34%) from Arise and Stan's Bench.

WINEMAKING
Made from select micro-block lots and bled off of two of Culmina's Single-Varietal red must fermenters following 4 hours of skin contact, Saignée is fermented and matured in small stainless steel tanks.

TASTING NOTE
Saignée’s nose is lively, filled with aromatics of peaches, raspberry, pink grapefruit and hints of green tea and mint. Berry and citrus fruits are echoed on the palate. Bright acidity is balanced by the creamy richness that has become a hallmark of this wine. The finish is lingering and refined.
