A blend of Malbec (44%), Cabernet Franc (29%) and Merlot (34%) from Arise and Stan's Benches, Certified Organic.
WINEMAKING
Made from select micro-block lots and bled off of two of Culmina's Single-Varietal red must fermenters following 4 hours of skin contact, Saignée is fermented and matured in small stainless steel tanks.
TASTING NOTE
Maintaining the style for which Saignee has become iconic, the 2022 iteration brings aromas of melon and strawberries. A creamy, full-bodied full-bodied palate with more red fruits gradually softens to a finish with lingering notes of nectarines and stonefruit.
