Produced with minimal handling techniques, the Q1 block of Gewürztraminer was harvested in late September. The grapes were destemmed and left to ferment wild for 67 days, with minimal sulphur additions.
N°.013 is the first Orange Wine produced at Culmina Family Estate Winery. Grapes sourced from our single block of Gewürztraminer were hand-harvested then left to sit on their skins for 67 days. During fermentation, grapes punched down twice weekly and completed using wild yeast. The grapes were then basket-pressed and the final wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered to showcase the full spectrum of flavors from the Gewürztraminer grape.
